From Education, Nutrition, Substance Use Prevention and Mentoring to Improving Child Safety and well-being, the provision of services for our most vulnerable populations has historically and continues to be a priority of the agency. Court Appointed Special Advocate Program

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program utilizes trained volunteers to be the “Voice” for children in the Courts and Child Welfare System. A CASA volunteer advocates on behalf of a child who has been court-declared as “deprived” meaning abused, neglected or abandoned. Join our team of volunteers today.

Child & Adult Care Food Program

LIFT CAA’s CACFP program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture and has been proudly serving Oklahoma communities for more than four decades! On average, the CACFP Program is able to provide 160 Daycare Home Providers with meal reimbursement incentives. Check out CACFP’s site to learn more about what CACFP can do for you!

Early Learning Centers

LIFT CAA operates Early Learning Centers in Swink, Idabel, Antlers, Hugo and Broken Bow. These centers support working families by providing full-day full-year childcare services for youth from birth to age three years. Each site has a three-star rating, the highest rating possible under Oklahoma’s quality rating and improvement system. Click on our page to find out if you qualify for free childcare.
Early Learning Centers

Head Start / Early HS / Early HS Childcare

Serving youth from 6 weeks through four years of age with educational opportunities to help prepare them for Kindergarten continues to be a core service of LIFT Community Action Agency, Inc. Collectively, these programs serve more than 600 youth each year. These youth show improvements in social, emotional and cognitive skills. Healthy Start

This program serves pregnant women, new mothers and the extended family by connecting them with health care and other resources in order to improve women’s health before, during and after pregnancy. The program goal is to improve health outcomes and reduce and/or prevent infant mortality rates in high risk areas.

Help Me Grow Oklahoma connects families and children age birth to five with developmental, behavioral or learning concerns to community services and resources. When you call the toll-free number, you will speak to the Outreach Specialist who will listen to your concerns and help you decide which services are appropriate for your family.

Mentoring Program

The Mentoring Program program serves youth, ages 6-17 in Choctaw, McCurtain and Pushmataha Counties. The goal of the program is to pair youth with a caring adult mentor to be a positive influence in their lives.

YouthBuild

The YouthBuild Program for Choctaw County provides educational instruction, occupational skills training, classroom and hands on construction training for at-risk youth ages 16-24 who have previously dropped out of high school, are adjudicated, are aging out of foster care, possess a disability, are homeless, or qualify as at risk participants.
