LIFT Community Action Agency owns and operates several apartment complexes in Choctaw, Pushmataha and McCurtain Counties. Our agency has been providing rental housing opportunities since 1990.  These units provide residents with rental housing options that are safe, decent and affordable.  Most of our older complexes have undergone extensive rehabilitation which has involved incorporating energy saving measures resulting in significant savings for our tenants.

In addition, LIFT CAA manages three senior supportive housing complexes (HUD Section 202) located in Choctaw and Pushmataha Counties. “The Section 202 program helps expand the supply of affordable housing with supportive services for the elderly. It provides very low-income elderly with options that allow them to live independently but in an environment that provides support such as transportation services”.

LIFT Community Action Agency is able to provide these housing opportunities through partnerships with the following organizations:

• Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency
• Housing Assistance Council
• Oklahoma Department of Commerce

LIFT CAA employs a full-time apartment manager and maintenance crew to oversee and maintain all units.  We accept Section 8 rental vouchers  thru the Hugo Housing Authority, also the Choctaw Nation Housing Authority.  Lawn care services are provided at no charge to tenants.   Other amenities include laundry facilities and/or washer/dryer hook-ups; playgrounds; tenant parking; security surveillance*** and several energy saving measures.
