The Housing Senior Community Development Specialist provides housing counseling to ensure that spealized aims, goals and objectives are accomplished with special emphasis on homeownership counseling; Home Buyer Education, Pre-Purchase, Post-Purchase, Foreclosure, Homeless, Rental and Fair Housing. The Caregiver Aide assists in creating and managing a learning environment for infants and toddlers. Learning and care activities that meet the needs of the individual children and families. The Caregiver Aide assumes the responsibility for continuing pre-planned classroom activities in the absence of the Teacher/Caregiver. Administer planned instructional activities and evaluate children as directed by the Teacher. Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following;Adhere to Head Start Performance Standards, Child Care Licensing, NAEYC/and STARS standards. Assist in implementing curriculum. Provide input into preparation of appropriate daily lesson plans that include indoor and outdoor activities. Assist in organizing the classroom and ensuring the classroom is homelike, safe, sanitary and free of clutter. Assist the Teacher/Caregiver with training parents and volunteers in planning and implementing approved activities. Assist with preparing meals and snacks according to age, development and needs. Maintain and assist in maintaining accurate attendance records, food reports, in-kind reports and other record keeping as required. Assist other staff as requested. Continue professional growth by attending training programs, workshops, in-service training. The Caregiver Adie works under the supervision of the Center Director and exercises no supervisor over other employees. High School Diploma or GED required.
