LIFT CAA has multiple opportunities for individuals to become involved as volunteers and give back to their community. Volunteers are utilized in the head start classrooms, during Veteran’s Day and other events, for food drives, for community clean-up projects, and much more! Volunteer Today! LIFT CAA’s AmeriCorps Program provides funding to support approximately 28 AmeriCorps members. These members have the opportunity to serve as tutors for children enrolled in the Early Head Start and Head Start programs at locations within McCurtain, Choctaw, and Pushmataha Counties. The Retired Senior Volunteer Program is America’s largest volunteer network for people age 55 and over! LIFT CAA’s RSVP Volunteers donate approximately 80,000 hours of service each year! Volunteers choose how and where they want to serve based on their interests, expertise and the amount of time they have to give. Volunteer stations are available in McCurtain, Choctaw, and Pushmataha Counties and include nutrition centers, hospital auxiliaries and public schools to name a few.
