After a full day of boating, stretch your legs with a hike along the border between Hugo Lake and the state park where you’ll see countless species of birds along the winding trails. Benches are also scattered throughout the trails for your convenience.

Bass tournaments And ACATS catfish tournaments are held regularly on Hugo Lake. Anglers can enjoy about 5000 acres of pristine fishing areas in Hugo Lake without being disturbed by skiers.
Boating lanes have been provided through the upper half of the lake. The lanes are designated by a system of numbers for the east-west lanes and letters for the north- south lanes. The old river channel is marked by an RC designation followed with the appropriate lane designation where it crosses the old channel.
